Peach moonstone is the peach/orange variety of moonstone (an orthoclase/albite feldspar), which shows a soft adularescence from light scattering by its internal layered structure (intergrown albite and orthoclase).
Main deposits: India, Sri Lanka, Brazil, Madagascar and Australia.
Its color is a warm peach-pink or honey-orange, with a gentle, lustrous sheen.
With a Mohs hardness of about 6-6.5, it is suited to polishing into spheres, beads and carvings.
